Suggested Itinerary & Timing

The following suggested itinerary is for a half-day program at Mutianyu and includes travel time from and to central Beijing. The times can be adjusted to allow for more or less activities. The program can work equally well to have lunch prior to an afternoon Wall visit.

10:00-12:00      Tour Great Wall and Walk through Village

13:30                   Depart for Beijing
13:30-15:00       Travel Time

Schoolhouse Canteen can also provide breakfasts and dinners in addition to lunches at any of our venues as well as on the Wall by prior reservation. Email us to request information or make a reservation at info@theschoolhouseatmutianyu.com.

The Schoolhouse makes an excellent rest stop just prior to arrival at the Mutianyu Great Wall site. Guests have access to our bathrooms and fresh takeaway foods for picnicking on the Wall.
